Kids and Pirates

I had a Blue and Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts and we chose a Pirate theme. I wanted to dress up so I bought a pattern and quickly sewed pants, a shirt and a really cool looking vest. All size 8. The pants drowned me. The shirt was way big too. And the Vest! Well it was about 4 sizes too small. #$%&**#^ Then Sheldon brought all his really cool Pirate costume stuff up for me and wow he had some neat pirate things. The cubs loved the outfit and especially the gun (or course). So I ended up having fun in his cool duds.

Here are some pics from the last two times we had Tucker and Halle.   So fun to have the Grandkids with us.

Halle loves our stairs...  But now that she can walk she walks to the top and wants to step down instead of turning around and backing down.  Made me worried so I stayed close.

Dad gave me roses for Valentines!   They were lovely.   And the great card was from Corrina.

Ready for church!   Wow it took me a long time to get me and two kids ready to go.

Positive thinking plus!
William James, a pioneering American psychologist and philosopher, wrote, "The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives."
